Thomas and Johanna Kampa had three other children who died in infancy. They spent most of their lives on a farm located near Duelm. Thomas retired in 1909 and moved to 325 - 29th Avenue North in St. Cloud. He and his wife are buried at St. Lawrence Parish in Duelm, Benton County, Minnesota.
