At the time of the June 5, 1900 U.S. federal census, Frances was 38 years old, single and working as a servant at 7th Avenue North, St. Cloud City, Stearns, Minnesota for the James and Mary Trobec family who also were boarding two priests, Edward Jones and Peter Gaus. In addition, John Partzel, age 45, was working as a servant in the household.
 
At the time of the Apr. 28, 1910 U.S. federal census, Frances was 48 years old and living with her husband Henry (age 42) and daughters Teressia (age 11) and Adeline (age 8) in District 10, St. George, Benton, Minnesota. Henry was working as a farmer in general farming. Frances stated that she immigrated to the United States in 1870. Henry and Frances said they had been married for 15 years.
 
At the time of the Jan. 20, 1920 U.S. federal census, Frances was 58 years old and living with her husband Henry and their two daughers on the family farm in Saint George, Benton, Minnesota. Henry was working as a farmer in general farming.
