with his parents and siblings Lucy (age 8), Charles (age 5) and Frank (age 1). His
uncle Matthew and aunt Annie Voerding lived two farms away.
Barney was only 23 years old when he died in a tragic accident while working for Zenith
Blast Furnace Company in West Duluth, MN.
