"Wilfred Kampa passed away at Rapid
City, South Dakota, Saturday, April 6 at 4 A. M. of bronchial pneumonia at the age
of 42.
"He was born December 3, 1896 in
Benton county and lived here until 24 years of age, at which time he moved
in Rapid City, South Dakota where he has resided since.
"He is survived by his two
children, Merlin and Barbara, and the following brothers and sisters:
Mrs. Anna Abfalter, New Munich,
Minnesota; Frank of Virginia, Minnesota; Charles
of Detroit, Michigan; Joe of
Claremont, Minnesota; Mrs. A. V. Stimler
of Foley; Edward of Marble, Minnesota; Mrs. W. J. Dore, Milwaukee, Wisconsin;
Mrs. C. A. Greenwood, Bismark, North
Dakota; William of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Mrs. Sherman Robinson,
St. Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. Roy Latterell,
Foley; and Louis of Duelm.
"The remains arrived Monday
evening and funeral services were conducted at St. Lawrence church in
Duelm Wednesday, April 20 at 10 A.M., with Rev. F. J. First
officiating. Interment was made in the Duelm cemetery.
"The pallbearers were six
brothers: Charles, Edward,
Joseph, William,
Louis, and Frank."
