JOHANN HENRICH VÖERDING

Johann Henrich was born in Osterwick, Germany on May 13, 1849 and baptized in St. Fabian and Sebastian Church the following day. His godparents were Joan Henrich Janning and Gertrud Vöerding.

Henrich immigrated to the United States with his parents, brother Bernard and uncle Bernard Heinrich Anton Voerding, arriving in New York on September 1, 1851 aboard the ship Emigrant.
