In the 1885 Minnesota census Ida was living in Clear Lake
Township with her parents and siblings. On September 12, 1918 Ida was living with her husband Martin and their children at 1619 Seventh St. S., St. Cloud, Stearns, Minnesota. Her husband was working as a teamster for Cold Spring Brewing Company in St. Cloud, Minnesota [Source: World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918, Registration Location: Stearns County, Minnesota; Roll 1682643; Draft Board 1]. At the time of the April 19, 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Ida was 45 years old and living with her husband Martin A. and their five children in their own home valued at $3,500 located at 1743 Seventh St. South, St. Cloud, Stearns, Minnesota. The family owned a radio. Her husband was working as a manager. Ida stated that she and Martin were married when she was 20 and he was 28 years old. She said that she was born in Minnesota, her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother was born in Ohio [Source: 1930 U.S. Census, Roll T626-1131; p. 23B; E.D. 54]. Ida died in Minnesota on February 6, 1960. She was 75 years old. |
