In the 1885 Minnesota census Isabella was living in Clear Lake
Township with her parents and siblings. On Sept. 11, 1918 Isabella and Nicholas were living at 600 Valley St. in Minot, Ward, North Dakota. Nicholas was working as a railway police for the Soo Railroad Company in Minot. At the time of the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Isabella was 42 years old and living with her husband Nicholas and their daughter Kathryn at 600 Valley St. in Minot, Ward, North Dakota. Nicholas was working as a policeman for Soo Railroad Company in Minot. At the time of the April 9, 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Isabella was 52 years old and living with her husband Nicholas B. and their 17-year-old daughter Kathryn in their own home valued at $4,500 at 3307 Polk St. NW in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. The family owned a radio. Her husband was working as a watchman at the railway. Isabella stated that she was married when she was 27 and Nicholas was 34 years old. She said that she was born in Minnesota, her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother was born in Ohio [Source: 1930 U.S. Census, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, Roll 1096; p. 17A; E.D. 182]. Isabella died in Hennepin County, Minnesota October 21, 1969. She was 91 years old. |
