At the time of the June 8, 1900 U.S. Census, Theresa was 31 years old and living on a farm in Mayhew Lake, Benton, Minnesota with her husband John, their two children, and William Lookinbill, a 25-year-old single hired man from Iowa [Source: 1900 U.S. Census, Mayhew Lake, Benton, Minnesota; Roll T623-757; Page 6A; Enumeration District 314]. At the time of the April 23, 1910 U.S. Census, Theresa was 41 years old and living on a farm in Mayhew Lake, Benton, Minnesota with her husband John and their six children. She and John had been married 13 years. Theresa stated that she was the mother of seven children, six of whom were still living. Theresa died Friday night, Apr. 11, 1913 from an attack of pleuro-pneumonia at the age of 44. She left behind a bereft husband and 8 children ranging in age from 14 years to 4 weeks old. |
