At the time of the June 27, 1905 Minnesota state census, Frances was 56 years old and living on the family farm in Saint George, Benton, Minnesota with her five children. She was working as a farmer and her 22-year-old son Tom was working as a farm laborer. At the time of the Apr. 18, 1910 U.S. federal census, Frances was 60 years old, widowed and living with her 14-year-old daughter Amelia in Saint George, Benton, Minnesota. She was working as a farmer in general farming. She said she was the mother of 13 children, all of whom were still living. Frances died on Jan. 30, 1912 in Benton County, Minnesota. She was 63 years old. |
