At the time of the January 26, 1920 federal census, Cora was 23 years
old and living with her husband Otto and their two children on a rented
farm in St. George Twp., Benton County, MN. She said that she and both
her parents were born in Minnesota. Otto was working as a farmer in
general farming [Source: 1920 Federal Census, NA Film No. T625-824, p. 6B].
At the time of the April 7, 1930 federal census, Cora was 33 years old and living with her husband Otto and their five children, ages ranging from 11 to 4-1/2 years old on a rented farm in Minden, Benton County, MN. Otto was working as a farmer. She stated that she and Otto were married when they both were 22 years old. The family did not own a radio [Source: 1930 Federal Census, NA Film No. T626-1078, E.D. 10, p. 3A]. Otto and Cora lived in Foley before moving to the Hillman vicinity. Cora died at the age of 61 after suffering a stroke at her home. |
