"Mrs. Marie Parent, 69, died Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
"Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Alvin Quade officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Minden.
"Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Foley Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
"Mrs. Parent was born Jan. 8, 1910, in Foley to the late Anthony and Mary Stimler. She married John Parent Jan. 1, 1947 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minden. She had been employed as a nurse by the St. Cloud Hospital 18 years.
"Survivors include brothers and sisters, Rubert [Note: Should be "Rupert"], Jacksonville, Ore.; Joseph and Mrs. Donald (Ann) Hall, Fairfield Bay, Ark.; Mrs. Florence Sauer, Foley; and Mrs. Delores Bartek, Cloquet.
"She was preceded in death by her husband Sept. 30, 1974, and two sisters."
