Notes:James was the quiet one in the family. His obituary states
that he came from Carlow in 1822 (likely with brothers Michael
and John). He told Crown Lands in 1840 that before he was
married he was living with brother John on Lot 26, Con 10
Lanark. He seems to have moved to either Ramsay or Bathurst,
but with so many T. Foleys around and the 1861 Ramsay
census taker using only initials, it's difficult to find his
homestead. No burial record or stone has been located.
