Notes:Thomas and Catherine Foley came to Canada between
1825 and 1832. Michael Corkery, calling himself
Michael Foley's father-in-law, stated in an 1825
letter that Foley was anxious to bring his parents
over from Ireland. Father John MacDonald noted in
1832 that "Thomas Foley father" had given him tithes
when MacDonald visited the Foley's at Lot 26, Con. 10
of Lanark (John and James' lot).
