(Don Kampa's memories of Ron Kampa):"The next oldest boy is Ron. He was born in St. Paul when Dick was still attending the university. He was a frail little boy with some health problems, but he turned out to be . . . . a very sharp guy. He worked his way through college at Georgia Tech and took post-graduate work at the University of Texas. He had a scholarship to go there from Motorola that Dick got for him. He went through on the scholarship and then went to work for Motorola after he graduated. That's where he met his wife to be, Phuong To. She had a responsible job at Motorola. After getting married, they have both continued working there." |
