Notes:At the time of the June 9, 1870 federal census, Joseph was 1 year
old and living with his parents and 7 siblings in St. George, Benton
County, MN. He was attending school at the time. His father was
working as a farmer on a farm which was assessed at $1,200. The
value of his personal estate was $300. He stated he was born in
Prussia as was his wife, but Joseph was born in Minnesota.
By 1908 Joe was living in Montana.
At the time of the 1930 federal census, Joe was 61 years old
and living by himself in Dist. 4, Glendorado Twp., Benton County,
MN.
