Notes:In the April 21, 1930 census, Irene was 17 years old and living
with her parents and 3 siblings on their own farm in Palmer
Township. The family did not own a radio. She was not
attending school at the time.
Irene and Floyd Elwell lived on a farm in Oak Park, just outside
of Foley, MN. Irene also worked at the Foley Locker for many
years. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
