Notes: In the 1885 census, Helen Kampa was living with her parents and siblings in Palmer Township. She then lived in Duelm, Benton County, Minnesota.
 
In the April 21, 1930 census, Helen was 44 years old and living with her husband Charley and four children on their own farm in Palmer Township. The family did not own a radio. She said she was married when she was 20 and Charley was 25 years old. She stated that she was born in Minnesota and both her parents were born in Germany.
 
Helen had been an invalid for some time before she died of pneumonia in St. Cloud Hospital. She was 71 years old.
