"FOLEY - Mrs. Florence Sauer, 79, Claire City, S.D. died Friday in Sisseton S.D.
"Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley with the Rev. Alfred Heltemes officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
"Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Foley Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.
"Florence Sauer was born on July 20, 1906, in Foley to Anthony V. and Mary (Kampa) Stimler. She was a bookkeeper and cashier at Hall's Store in Foley. She moved to South Dakota in 1984.
"Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Sebek of Claire City, S.D.; and brothers and sisters, Rubin [incorrect; should be Rupert], Oregon and Joseph, Mrs. Ann Hall, and Mrs. Delores Bartek, Fairfield, Arkansas.
"Pallbearers will be Pat Stimler, Joe Hall, Bill Kotsmith, Jr. and Val Gondeck."
