At the time of the June 13, 1865 New York state census, Anna was 10 years old and living with her parents and three elder siblings in a log house valued at $15 located in the First Election District of Jay, Essex, New York. Her father David (age 50) was working as a farmer.

On June 24, 1870 at the time of the federal census, Anna was 14 years old and living with her parents, brother David (age 19), sister Margarite (age 17) and a 12-year-old boy, Maley Stringham, in Jay, Essex county, New York. Anna and Maley were not attending school at the time. Anna's parents were born in Ireland, however Anna and her two siblings were born in New York [Source: 1870 Federal Census, NA Film No. 936, pp. 35-36].
 
At the time of the June 1, 1875 New York state census, Anna was 20 years old and living in a log house valued at $300 on the family farm with her parents and elder brother David (age 23). The state census indicated that Anna was newly married. Her father was a naturalized citizen and a farmer.

At the time of the June 9, 1880 federal census, Annie Noonan was 23 years old and working as a servant for Anthony W. and Alice Stickney, Alice's 9-year-old son, Harvey Strobridge, and Anthony's brother, Robert Stickney (her future husband) in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN [Source: 1880 U.S. Federal Census, NA Film No. T9-0622, p. 348B].
 
At the time of the June 27, 1895 Minnesota State census, Anna was 38 years old and living with her husband Robert, their three children, and her mother and father at 322 E. 15th St. in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. Her husband was working as a sidewalk foreman [Source: 1895 State Census, Ward 5, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, FHL Film No. 0565779, p. 90].
 
On June 6, 1900 at the time of the federal census, Anna was 42 years old and living with her husband Robert and three children, Frank D., Alice M. and Ruth Ann in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN. She and her husband had been married for 18 years. Anna stated that she was the mother of five children, of whom three were still living [Source: 1900 Federal Census, NA Film No. T9-0767, E.D. 60, p. 7B].
 
At the time of the June 10, 1905 Minnesota State Census, Anna was 46 years old and living with her husband Robert O. and their three children on E. 15th Ave., Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. Her husband was working as a teamster [1905 Minnesota State Census, Minneapolis Ward 5, Roll MNSC_124, Line 13].
 
On April 26, 1910 at the time of the federal census, Anna was 56 years old and living with her husband Robert and two children, Frank D. and Ruth A. in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN. She and her husband had been married for 28 years. Anna stated that she was the mother of five children, of whom two were still living. She said she was born in New York and both her parents were born in Ireland [Source: 1910 Federal Census, NA Film No. T9-702, E.D. 92, Ward 5, p. 11B].
 
In the 1910 Minneapolis city directory, Annie and Robert resided at 312 E. 15th Street in Minneapolis. Their children Frank and Ruth A. lived with him, Frank listed as a surveyor, and Ruth as a student.
 
Annie lived at the same residence in Minneapolis for 40 years. She passed away at home on March 5, 1926 at the age of 69 years. [Source: MN Death Certificate No. 18571-896.]
