| Notes: |
At the time of the 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Joseph was 45 years old and living with his
wife Marie and their six children on the family farm in Langola Township, Benton
County, Minnesota. Joseph was working as a farmer in general farming. He said he was married when he was 24 and Mary was
21 years old. He stated both he and Mary were born in Minnesota as were all their children, but both his parents were born in Austria.
