Her husband was working as a farmer in general farming. She said he was married when she was 21 and Joseph was 24 years old. She stated both she and Joseph were born in Minnesota as were all their children, but both her parents were born in Germany. | Duane Jabas reminisces on the above photograph: "One of the sets I sent entitled Mrs.'s Joe's holding the guns on the porch is Joe's Annie Popileck on the left and Joe Dezurick's Mary on the right. Grandpa Joe had a graphlex camera, bellows, wooden frame that sat on a tripod. The family would get real excited when he brought it out because it was a special occasion. They said that he had the camera for many years. I would not be surprised to find that he took some of these pictures." |
