Notes: At the time of the 1881 Canadian Census, Anna was 2 years
old and living with her parents and four siblings in Darling,
Lanark North, Ontario. Her father was working as a
lumberman, and the family was of the Catholic faith. [Source:

Anna came to Foley, Minnesota in November 1898 and was for
many years associated with the Hall Bros. store where she worked
as post mistress. As a consequence, she knew everybody in Benton
county.
For the last 25 years of her life she and her mother Ellen travelled
south for the winter and north to Minnesota in the summer. The
last two years of her life she lived with her sister Kate in St. Paul,
MN. She passed away at the age of 58.
