Notes: Elizabeth was born on the family farm 1/2 mile south of Duelm.
 
At the time of the July 5, 1895 Minnesota state census, Lizzie was 5 years old and living with her parents and four siblings in St. George township. They stated that she was born in Minnesota and that both her parents were of foreign birth. They said she had been living in the state of Minnesota for 5 years, and had been a resident of this enumeration district for all 5 of those years.
 
At the time of the April 26, 1910 federal census, Lizzie was 19 years old, single, and living with her parents and four siblings on the family farm in St. George Twp., Benton Co., MN. She was not attending school at the time. She stated that she was born in Minnesota of a father from German-speaking Germany and a mother of Polish-speaking Germany.
 
At the time of the April 8, 1930 census, Elizabeth was 42 years old and living with her husband Robert and three children on their own farm in St. George Township. The family owned a radio. They stated that they were married when he was 31 and she was 20 years old. Both Robert and Elizabeth said that their parents were born in Germany.
 
At the time of the Apr. 24, 1940 U.S. Federal Census, Elizabeth was 50 years old and living with her husband Robert and their three children ranging in age from 18 to 10 years old in their own home valued at $1,500 in St. George Township, Benton, Minnesota. Robert owned his own garage. Elizabeth's highest grade completed was 6th grade elementary school.

In 1942 at the time of the WWII draft registration, Elizabeth and her 56-year-old husband Robert were living on Route #1 in Foley, Benton, Minnesota. He was self-employed at his own garage in Duelm.
