Obituary of
SOPHIA T. DINGMANN (née STIMMLER)


"Mrs. Sophia T. Dingmann of Sauk Rapids died Friday afternoon. She had been ill since May.
"She was born in Carver County on August 27, 1870 the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Stimmler. They moved to Clear Lake in 1879.
"She married Edward H. Dingmann at the St. Marcus Church in Clear Lake on May 14, 1895. He died on March 4, 1943. Since their marriage she had lived in the St. Cloud vicinity.
"Mrs. Dingmann was a member of the St. Clotilda's and the Holy Angels Altar Societies, the legion auxiliary of St. Cloud and the Scared Heart Church in Sauk Rapids.
"Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Joseph H., Minneapolis, George B., San Francisco; Mrs. Roy J. Mullally (Marie), Sauk Rapids and Francis C., New York City.
"There are 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
"Two brothers and one sister also survive: Dan of Minneapolis, Max of St. Cloud, and Mrs. George Benninghof, Woodland Hills, California.
"Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Sauk Rapids with burial in the St. Marcus cemetery in Clear Lake."
