2001 will go down in history as a most memorable year. I doubt many of us
will ever forget what happened in our country. Jerry and I sincerely hope that September 11th, in some way, has
impacted your lives in a positive manner. We hope it has enabled you to be closer to your families and to realize that He
is ever with us.
Jerry has been getting good reports from the doctors and is feeling well.
He gets out on the golf course at least three days a week. We were able to spend about two weeks in Florida in the winter
and the golf clubs were active then too.
We have seen a good deal of family this year. My son
Frank (Montana) came to visit a couple of times and we put him to work with little
projects. He and his wife, Kelly, gave us our fourth grandson, Bentley Revell, in May. After three little girls a
boy in the family is a big adjustment. I was able to visit with the whole family in June.
Kelly (Chicago) came to visit a couple
times. She, Melanie, and Ryan were here over Thanksgiving . . . one of the best we've ever had. When Kelly
comes she cooks meals for us and makes sure we won't starve for at least a week after she departs.
Brett, Colleen's husband (Florida) got
home last month after being on the USS Enterprise for eight months. Tyler is so happy to have his daddy home.
We're looking forwrd to seeing them at Christmas time.
Sue and Thilo visit us on week ends occasionally. They won't be with us
this Christmas as they are going to Germany to spend the holiday with Thilo's mother. We did enjoy spending Thanksgiving
with them. Dawn and Craig hosted 22 of us for turkey day???
Dawn and Craig are both very busy. Craig got a wonderful promotion and is
now Director of Mental Health in Sussex County. Dawn is a workaholic and I often wonder when she sleeps. She and
Craig have helped us in so many ways this past year.
In August Jerry and I rented a lodge in Big Fork, Montana and the whole
family came for a long week. We drove cross country with three of the grandchildren. My brothers and sisters joined us as
did Jerry's brother, Jim. All our kids and grandkids were there, too. It was a vacation we will never forget.
My health is failing and I ask you to continue with your prayers. I am
using oxygen daily and am currently on an experimental drug. I have so much to be thankful, especially Jerry.
Have a wonderful Christmas. Look back and reflect on all the good Lord
has done for you and your family. God bless you one and all.

but not before putting
your name on the
envelope. I will miss
her greatly.
