 At the time of the April 11, 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Henry was 36 years old and living with his wife Alma and their two children on their own farm in Mayhew Lake, Benton County, Minnesota. The family owned a radio. Henry stated that he was born in Minnesota and both his parents were born in Missouri. He said he was married when he was 25 and Alma was 26 years old [Source: 1930 U.S. Census, Roll: T626-1078; p. 7A; E.D. 8].
 
Henry died on August 12, 1979 at the age of 85.
