She and her brother were both attending school. Her father was working as a farmer in general farming. The family owned a radio.
 
Janet and Chester lived at 2115 W. Mukilteo Blvd., Everett, Snohomish, Washington.
 
Janet died Sept. 23, 2001 in Everett, Snohomish, Washington. She was 82 years old.
