Notes: On January 15, 1920, Gladys was 2 years and 4 months old, living with her parents and older sister Violet in Sergeant Village, Mower, Minnesota.

In the April 22, 1930 federal census, Gladys was 12 years old and living with her parents and her older sister Violet in Foley Village, Minnesota. Their home was valued at $3,000 ($30,000 in 2001 currency) and the family owned a radio.

Red was a devoted wife and mother who gave a life commitment to her husband Joe Stimler, and to her children. She was always there for her family, friends and for anyone who needed love and support regardless of the situation. Red was a breath of fresh air to anyone who came in contact with her. She was a great entertainer and could make anyone laugh just by looking at her. Her style and attitude were contagious to all her friends and relatives. She gave us strength when we needed it most, and unconditional love during the good times and the bad.

Unfortunately, Red's heart had been giving her problems the last few months of her life. She passed away on May 2, 2007 at 12:45 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. She was 89 years old.
