"Frank Balder,
80, 900 River avenue, Sauk Rapids, died Monday at the St. Cloud hospital.
"Mr. Balder was born in St. Cloud and
attended the local schools. He moved to St. George township with his parents where they
farmed.
"On Sept. 1, 1915, he married Martha Flanagan,
at St. Patrick's church. He farmed and engaged in road construction work until his retirement
in 1954 when the couple moved to Sauk Rapids.
"Surviving are his widow
and the following brothers and sisters: Otto, Hillman; Rube, Harrah, Wash.; Mrs. Adelaide Laugherty,
Billings, Mont.; and Mrs. Joseph Brambrink, Waite Park.
"He was a member of the Sacred Heart parish of Sauk
Rapids.
"Friends may call at the Ross-Vesser funeral home after 2 p.m.
Wednesday.
"Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m.
with requiem mass at the St. Patrick's church, with burial in St. Patrick's cemetery."
