As of September 12, 1918, Cora was living with her husband Frank and their family in Itasca County, Minnesota. Frank was employed at Oliver Mining. In the January 9, 1920 federal census, Cora was 42 years old and living with her husband Frank and their 8 children in Greenway, Itasca, Minnesota. Brother-in-law Wilfred Kampa was boarding with them at the time. At the time of the Apr. 17, 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Cora was 53 years old and living with her husband Frank, three of their children and five grandchildren in their own home in the unincorporated Hopper area of Nichols Twsp., St. Louis, Minnesota. Frank was working as a mountain (?) engineer in an iron mine and their 22-year-old son Otto was working as a stockman in a garage. Cora stated she was married to Frank when she was 19 and he was 23 years old. Cora was the ninth of fifteen children. When she passed away, her estate was administrated by H. A. Latterell, her nephew. |
