At the court house Saturday Sheriff Schilplia sold at public
auction the property known as the Balder brewery and which had been operated for some years as by
F. Zertler. The brewery was bid in by Attorney John A. Roeser for Mrs. Mary Webster of Minneapolis,
the mortgagee. There was a mortgage of $7,500 on the property which with the interest, taxes, insurance and other costs
brought the total amount due up to $8,541.40. This was the amount of the bid and there were no other bidders. The title to
the property now rests in Mrs. Webster should it not be redeemed within a year.
