At the time of the June 21, 1900 U.S. Federal Census, Vincent was 4 years old and living with his parents and 9 siblings on the familly farm in Palmer Township, Sherburne, Minnesota. Elder siblings Paul, Pauline and Nicholas were attending school. At the time of the May 6, 1910 U.S. Federal Census, Vincent was 14 years old and living with his parents and four siblings in Palmer, Sherburne, Minnesota. He and his brother Peter were working as laborers on the family farm. Vincent saw active service on the western front during World War I, and returned home to Palmer to live [The Clear Lake Times, 6 Nov 1919, p. 5, col. 1]. At the time of the Jan. 27, 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Vincent was 24 years old and living with his parents and twin sisters Millie and Clara on the family farm in Palmer, Sherburne, Minnesota. He was working as the farm manager. Vincent died on Jan. 15, 1985 at a hospital in Hennepin County, Minnesota at the age of 89. |
