Notes: At the time of the June 2, 1900 federal census, Felix was 12 years old and living with his parents and six siblings
  on the family farm in St. George Twp., Benton, Minnesota. He and four of his siblings were attending school at the time.

At the time of the April 15, 1910 federal census, Felix was 20 years old and living with his parents and six siblings on the family farm in District 10 of St. George, Benton, Minnesota. His father Joseph was working as a farmer in general farming, brother Joseph was working as an engineer, and Felix and two of his brothers were working out as farm laborers. Elder brother Anton also was working as a farm laborer but on the home farm. Seventeen-year-old ister Magdalena was no longer attending school but younger brother George still was. By now his parents had been married 35 years, and his mother Johanna had borne 10 children, 9 of whom were still living.

On June 5, 1917 at the time of his WWI draft registration, Felix was 27 years old and living with wife Pauline on RR 1 in Foley, Benton, Minnesota. He was self-employed as a farmer working in Palmer, Sherburne County. He described himself as being of medium height and build, with brown eyes and black hair. He had no previous military experience.

At the time of the January 27, 1920 federal census, Felix was 29 years old and living with his wife Pauline on a rented farm in Palmer, Sherburne, Minnesota. He was working as a farmer in general farming.

At the time of the April 4, 1930 census, Felix was 39 years old and living with his wife Pauline on their own farm valued at $4,500 (approx. $45,000 in 2001 dollars) in St. George Township. They did not own a radio. He stated that they were married when he was 26 and she was 24 years old.

At the time of the April 20, 1940 federal census, Felix was 50 years old and living with his wife Pauline on a farm in St. George, Benton, Minnesota. They were living in the same house they had been living in as of April 1935. Felix worked all 52 weeks of 1939 and his highest level of education was the 8th grade.
