At the time of the June 1, 1900 U.S. federal census, George was 5 years old and living with his parents and six older siblings on the family farm in St. George Twp., Benton, Minnesota. He was not yet attending school.
 
As of June 19, 1905, George was 10 years old and living with his parents and six siblings on the family farm in St. George Twp., Benton, Minnesota.
 
At the time of the April 15, 1910 U.S. federal census, George was 15 years old and living with his parents and six siblings on the family farm in St. George Twp., Benton, Minnesota. He was attending school at the time.
 
On June 5, 1917, George was 22 years old and working as a farm laborer on the family farm in St. George Twp., Benton, Minnesota. He was living in Foley. He was of medium height and build, with grey eyes and dark brown hair.
 
George spent 8 months in France in World War I. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Disabled American Veterns, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Benton Barracks.
 
At the time of the Jan. 9, 1920 U.S. federal census, George was 25 years old, single and living with his widowed mother, elder brother Anton and Philip Adelman (age 70) on a farm in St. George Twp., Benton, Minnesota. He was working as a laborer on the family farm.
 
On June 21, 1921, George married Mary (Mayme) Therese Doyle at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Custer, Portage, Wisconsin. He was 26 years old.
 
In the April 2, 1930 federal census, George was 35 years old and living with his wife Mayme and their 4 children in their own home in St. George Township, Benton, MN. George was a farmer engaged in general farming at the time. George died on April 17, 1970 in St. Cloud, Sherburne, Minnesota at the age of 75.
