Obituary of Harvey T. Kampa

Memorial services for Harvey Theodore Kampa, 73, of Cambridge, formerly of St. Francis, took place June 30 at Strike Funeral Home - Cambridge Chapel. Rev. James David Hahn officiated.
 
Kampa died June 27 at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1931 at Palmer Township in Sherburne County to Vincent and Mary Kampa. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1948 to 1952 and was employed as a boilermaker for Cornelius Company in Anoka for 30 years.
 
He is survived by his sons, Wayne and wife Janelle of Isanti, Bryan and wife Sharon of Elk River, Randall and wife Cheryl of Cedar, Glenn and wife Amber of Isanti; daughters, Corinne Blanchard and husband Lance of Dayton, Doreen Cederberg and husband Cully of Albertville, Denise Jordan of Cambridge; brother, Lee Kampa of Duelm; sisters, Katie Hemmelgarn and husband Abie of Clear Lake, Laura Moothart of Independence, Ore., Bernadine Miller of Toledo, Wash., Ellen Hull and husband Warren of St. Cloud; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; and sisters, Marie Arnold and Evie Schuldt.
 
Interment was at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Cambridge Chapel.
