Notes: At the time of the June 29, 1860 U.S. federal census, Harriet was 16 years old and living with
  her maternal grandparents, mother and five siblings in St. Albans, Franklin, Vermont.
 
Harriet married Simeon Hunt King in 1866 when he was 30 and she was 22 years old.
 
On June 1, 1880 at the time of the U.S. federal census, Harriet was 36 years old and living with her husband Simeon and their three children in Plymouth, Windsor, Vermont. Simeon was working as a farmer.
 
At the time of the June 7, 1900 U.S. federal census, Harriet was 56 years old and living with her husband Simeon and their two daughters in Plymouth, Windsor, Vermont. Simeon was working as a farmer and both their daughters were working as school teachers.
 
At the time of the Aug. 19, 1910 U.S. federal census, Harriet was 66 years old and living with her husband Simeon and their two daughers in Ludlow, Windsor, Vermont.
 
Harriet died on Oct. 9, 1930 in Ludlow, Windsor, Vermont of chronic myocarditis, chronic nephritis and arterioscierosis. She suffered from senility as well. She was 86 years old.
