Notes: At the time of the Aug. 14, 1850 U.S. federal census, Simeon was 14 years old and living in
  Tunbridge, Orange, Vermont with his father, stepmother and four siblings.
 
At the time of the Aug. 29, 1860 U.S. federal census, Simeon was 24 years old and living with seven others in Tunbridge, Orange, Vermont.
 
Simeon married Harriet Miner King in 1866 when he was 30 and she was 22 years old.
 
On June 1, 1880 at the time of the U.S. federal census, Simeon was 44 years old and living with his wife Harriet and their three children in Plymouth, Windsor, Vermont. He was working as a farmer.
 
At the time of the June 7, 1900 U.S. federal census, Simeon was 64 years old and living with his wife Harriet and their two daughters in Plymouth, Windsor, Vermont. He was working as a farmer and both his daughters were working as school teachers.
 
At the time of the Aug. 19, 1910 U.S. federal census, Simeon was 74 years old and living with his wife Harriet and their two daughers in Ludlow, Windsor, Vermont.
 
Simeon died July 19, 1913 in Plymouth of an intestinal obstruction from a probably malignant abdominal growth. He was 77 years old.
