At the time of the June 21, 1900 U.S. federal census, Franciska was 49 years old and living with her husband Frank, their two daughters and Henry Trice, a 13-year-old schoolboy from New York, on a farm in St. George Township, Benton, Minnesota. Franciska was the mother of five children, two of whom were still living.
 
At the time of the Apr. 18, 1910 U.S. federal census, Franciska was 58 years old living with her husband Frank, their two daughters, and Henry Trice, their adopted son born in New York, who was working as a laborer on the family farm in St. George, Benton, Minnesota. Her husband was working as a farmer in general farming.
 
Frances died New Year's Day 1911 in St. George, Benton, Minnesota. She was 59 years old.
