In the 1885 census, Charley was living in Palmer Township, MN
with his parents and siblings. He later lived in Duelm, Minnesota.
In the April 21, 1930 census, Charley was 50 years old and living with his wife Helen and four children on their own farm in Palmer Township. The family did not own a radio. He said he was married when he was 25 and Helen was 20 years old. He stated that he was born in Minnesota and both his parents were born in Germany. |
