For Reuben Balder


Second Obituary of Reuben Balder.
"Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Church, Minden Township, Benton County for Reuben Balder, 73 Rte. Hillman, who died Monday October 3rd in St. Gabriel's Hospital. A retired blacksmith, he had lived in Harrah, Wash., until a year and a half ago, when he came to the Hillman vicinity. He was born Dec. 13, 1892, in Benton County. He was a member of the Eagle Lodge, Toppenish, Wash., and of the Holy Family Parish, Hillman.
"Surviving him are his widow, Stella; a son Bernard, Beatty, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Everett Dixson of Cody, Wyo.; a brother, Otto, Hillman; and two sisters, Mrs. Adelaide Laughery, Billings, Mont. and Mrs. Joe Brambrink, St. Cloud. Pallbearers were Reuben Brambrink, David, Charles and Ray Balder, Bernard Winkelman and Jack Abfalter."
