Funeral of Early Pioneer Held at Geneva Cemetery
 
Death Occurs in Minneapolis on Friday, March 25


"Mrs. Marian Dittlevson returned to her home in this city from Geneva, where on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock she attended the funeral of her grandmother, Mrs. M. Anderson, whose death occured in Minneapolis on Friday, March 25. The remains, accompanied by her sons, J.S. Anderson and wife and A.S. Anderson and wife, both of Minneapolis, were brought to Geneva on Monday, the funeral taking place from the Union church. Rev. Warren, pastor of the Baptist church of Clarks Grove, conducted the funeral service. The interment was made in the Geneva cemetery.
"Mrs. Anderson was a native of Denmark. She was born in 1839. After her marriage, she came to America and her family was amongst the pioneers of Geneva, where she lived until last year when she went to Minneapolis to make her home with her sons.
"She is survived by her sons, J.S. Anderson and A.S. Anderson, both of Minneapolis and daughter, Mrs. M.C. Nelson of Geneva.
"Those from away in attendence at the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Anderson of Minneapolis; Mrs. Marian Ditlevson of Owatonna; Miss Anna S. Nelson of Alden; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. L. Ferrington of Blooming Prairie and Miss Selma Nelson of Owatonna."
