"Mrs. Katherine Haaf,
wife of John Haaf, died at her home in this town Tuesday July 15th, aged 66 years
and 8 months. Death was sudden and unexpected.
"Deceased was born in Carver county but has been a resident of Clear Lake
and Clearwater for nearly 50 years. She is survived by her husband and her ten children, Gilbert, George, Philip,
St. Paul; Charles, Clear Lake; Mrs. Joseph Kampa, Clarmont;
Mrs. C. G. Heydmann, Red Wing; Mrs. F. C. Hoffman, Robinsdale; Mrs. Radigan, St. Paul;
Mrs. E. N. Nichols and Mrs. E. Flannigan, Minneapolis.
"She also leaves 19 grandchildren.
"She was a sister of the late Jno. Kaufmann, a former resident in Clear Lake
and one of the early settlers of the town.
"The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Marcus
Catholic church."
