HENRY MEYER OF BENTON
COUNTY DIED SUDDENLY

"Henry Meyer, a resident of Benton County for 30 years
passed away very suddenly at his home at St. George yesterday afternoon at three o'clock. Mr. Meyer had been
failing in health since last winter, suffering with stomach trouble but was not thought to be in a dangerous condition
until Friday. Carcinoma was given as the cause of his death at the age of _3 years. The deceased was born in
Germany and came to this country when a young man. He has been one of the prominent and successful farmers for many
years in that county. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Theresia and
Madeline at home and two brothers, Fred Meyer of St. Augusta and Barney Meyer of this city. The funeral
services will be held on Thursday morning at nine o'clock from the Duelm Catholic Church. Interment will be made
in the Cemetery at Duelm."
