"One Sunday (don't ask me where
the folks were as I am sure they would not have agreed to what we were
doing) but Marie and I
put Gib in one of Marie's dresses,
put her sandals on him, put a ribbon around his head and took him over to
Rieders and said he was our cousin Judy
from Omaha. I am sure they didn't believe it but they went along with it saying
he (she) looked a lot like Gib but we said that's because they are cousins. We had
no idea what Judy looked like but
it sounded good to us."
