of 4153 Hwy. 238, Jacksonville, OR who died Monday. Perl with Siskiyou
Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
"Memorial contributions may
be made to a favorite charity.
"Mr. Stimler was born April 2,
1927, in Foley, Minn. He was a 1950 graduate of the Naval Academy, Annapolis,
Md., and of Submarine Officer's Basic School. He retired from the U.S. Navy
in July 1970 with the rank of lieutenant commander.
"He and his wife, Diane,
whom he married Feb. 26, 1951, in Long Beach, Calif., moved to Jacksonville
in 1972.
"He was a residential
supervisory appraiser for Jackson County until 1982. Survivors, in addition
to his wife, include one son, Paul Stimler, Jacksonville, four daughters,
Jody Stimler, Medford, Rae Stimler,
San Francisco, Sandra Stimler, Sacramento, Calif., and Dana Stimler, Salt
Lake City, Utah; three brothers, Spencer Stimler,
Los Angeles, and Forrest Stimler and
Gilbert Stimler,
both of Wayzata, Minn.; two sisters, Osceola Weingard,
Poway, Calif., and Helen Lundblad, Portland;
and his father, Rupert G. Stimler,
Ruch."
