Theresa/Tracy, the adopted daughter of Valentin and Mary Kampa, was an "orphan train" baby born January 29, 1900 at the New York Mother's Home now known as Misericordia Hospital on 581 East 86th Street in New York City. Her birth name was listed in the records as Theresa Harris but she was placed out under the name Theresa Vincent. She was baptized on January 30 1900 at same hospital and put in an institution on February 23. On July 5, 1902 Theresa was placed in the home of Valentin and Mary Kampa.
 
At the time of the June 14, 1905 Minnesota state census, Tracy was 5 years old living with her adopted parents, her adopted brother Bennie, and adopted paternal grandmother Agnes on R.F.D. 2 in Buckman, Morrison, Minnesota.
 
At the time of the Apr. 18, 1910 U.S. federal census, Tracy was 9 years old living with her adopted parents, her 88-year-old adopted paternal grandfather, Valentin Kampa, and her 13-year-old adopted brother Bernard born in New York, at 25 6th Avenue NE in St. Cloud Ward 6, Benton, Minnesota. Her adopted father Valentin was working as a stone mason. Her adoptive parents had been married 17 years.
 
At the time of the Jan. 31, 1920 U.S. federal census, Theresa was 19 years old and living with her adoptive parents in St. Anne's Village, Stearns, Minnesota. She had not attended school any time since Sept. 1, 1919 but was able to read and write. Her adoptive father Valentin was working as a farmer in general farming.
 
Tracy and Louis D. Pietron were married about 1922.
 
At the time of the April 8, 1930 U.S. federal census, Tracy was 30 years old and living at 4053 44th Avenue South in Minneapolis Ward 12, Block 435, Hennepin, Minnesota with her husband Louis, their son Vernon and two young boarders, 6-year-old Lorraine Rondeau and 5-year-old Mary McDonald, both born in Minnesota. Her husband was working as an electrician.
 
Theresa died on March 13, 1969 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. She was 69 years old.
