In 1961, Dick joined the DeLaval Separator Co. as a Sales Representative. In 1962 Dick and his family relocated to Howard South Dakota and then later moved back to Foley MN in December 1966 where he lived the balance of his life. He retired from DeLaval in 1990 but remained a consultant until recently. While employed, Dick received many awards of recognition including the Outstanding Sales Achievement Award, and the Outstanding Territory Manager Award. After he retired he enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, and having coffee and playing cribbage with his buddies in Santiago. Dick served as President of the St. Cloud Library Board, and also served on the St. Lawrence Parish Council. He was a member of the St. Lawrence Knights of Columbus #12519. Dick died August 21, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 83 years old. |
