"Richard Louis Baffa
"Age 74, of Landenberg, PA, formerly of Hawley, PA and Venice, FL, died on November 28, 2006, at his home.
"He was the husband of Margaret (Corino) Baffa for 48 years. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 19, 1932, to Richard H. Baffa and the late Anita (Stimmler) Baffa. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict with rank of Staff Sergeant. He was an avid musician, and was formerly employed by Wantagh School District as a Music Teacher and Administrator for 35 years until his retirement, in 1991. He was a member of Queen of Peace Church in Hawley, PA.
"Besides his wife, Margaret, and father, Richard, he is survived by 5 children, Gina Baffa, Landenberg, PA, Richard C. Baffa, Spotsylvania, VA, Carolyn Gaziano, Basking Ridge, NJ, Nancy Baffa, Worcester, MA, Cindy Baffa, Hoboken, NJ; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 1 brother, Rev. Robert Baffa; 1 sister, Mary Anita Metacarpa, both of Somers Point, NJ; many nieces, nephews.
"Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass on Friday, December 1, 2006, at 11 am, at Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401. Visitation from 10-11 am, before mass. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
"In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name to Regina Nursing Center at above address; or Jennersville Regional Home Care Hospice, 2217 Baltimore Pike, Oxford, PA 19363, are appreciated."
