Notes: At the time of the Apr. 7, 1930 U.S. federal census, Leo was 19 years old and living with his parents and three
  younger siblings ranging in age from 11 to 26 years old in their own home valued at $8,000 in Fairmont, Martin, Minnesota. The family owned a radio. His father was 28 years old and his mother was 22 years old when they first married. His father was an assistant grain buyer for a grain elevator (as was Leo's eldest brother, Frank D.), and was not a veteran. Leo was attending school, as were his two younger siblings.

In "The Gopher" yearbook of 1933 for the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis, Leo is listed as being in the Class of 1935 and an active member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

At the time of the Apr. 8, 1940 U.S. federal census, Leo Geo. was 29 years old, single and a lodger at in a hotel in Jackson, Jackson, Minnesota. He had been living in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota as of Apr. 1, 1935. He told the enumerator that he had completed four years of college plus one year of postgraduate education. He was working 45 hours a week, 52 weeks a year as a lawyer in private practice, and had income from any other sources.

In 1984 when he was 74 years old, Leo and Mary Lou were living at 4950 N. Miller Rd., Apt. 112 in in Scottsdale, Maricopa, Arizona. They later lived at 42  Ave. 1/2e CO 6 1/2 St. in Fountain Hills, Maricopa, Arizona. Leo and Mary Lou also lived at 825 Park St. in Jackson, Jackson, Minnesota.

Leo died Oct. 11, 1990 at the age of 80 in Fountain Hills. Eleven and a half years later his wife Mary Lou followed him in death on July 31, 2001, aged 76 years old.
