Notes: At the time of the Apr. 25, 1930 U.S. federal census, June was 6 years old and living with her parents and three
  sisters in their own home worth $2,500 in Hurley City, Turner, South Dakota. Her father was working as a lawyer in general practice. He and his wife Bertha L. were married when he was 26 and she was 25 years old. He was born in England and his wife was born in Minnesota, but all four of their daughters were born in South Dakota. June and her two elder sisters, Dorothy J. and Roberta, were attending school.

June attended the University of Minnsota from 1942 to 1945. She was a member of the Methodist girls' sorority, Kappa Phi.

June married Eugene David Kampa on Dec. 6, 1944 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota when she was 21 and he was 22 years old. Her 5-year-old nephew, Dick Kampa, was the ring bearer. Twenty-two years later in August 1966 when she was 43 years old, June and Gene were divorced in Santa Clara County, California.

June had been in declining health for a number of years and on Sept. 16, 2012 she passed away in Santa Clara, California surrounded by family. She was 89 years old.
